Osram Sylvania HLX 64265 30 Watt 6 Volt Halogen Lamp

OSRAM Display/Optic division is located in Danvers, Mass. Under the OSRAM brand name, the division produces innovative products to fulfill the needs of very diverse markets including entertainment, cinema film projection, information display, medical/scientific, semiconductor fabrication and airfield/aircraft. Over 500 different Display/Optic halogen and discharge lamp types are produced in the United States, Mexico, Germany and Japan.

The Osram 64265 Halogen Bulb is sometimes referred to as "HLX 64265." The HLX identifies lamps that employ XENOPHOT technology, an innovation first introduced by OSRAM. In XENOPHOT lamps, kryptonthe normal fill gas used in halogen lampsis replaced with xenon gas. The xenon reduces the rate of tungsten vaporization and allows for a higher filament temperature. Depending on the application, XENOPHOT can either improve luminous efficacy or can extend the lamps service life.
